Regular Activities
Pastoral
The minister undertakes to visit those who are ill, in hospital or experiencing any difficulties. She is grateful for any information about those needing a visit.
During the week following Communion, there will be the opportunity for the elderly and those unable ato attend Church to receive Home Communion. Requests should be made via the District elder, Session Clerk or direct to the Minister.
The Minister will be at home between 6 and 8pm on the third Wednesday of the month and is happy to see anyone who wishes to discuss any pastoral, spiritual or church matter with her at that time.
Worship
As well as worship every Sunday at 11.15, there is an evening service at 6pm on the first Sunday of every month.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of MArch, June, September and December
Childrens Activities
Sunday School and Creche meet every Sunday in the Hall at 11.10 and attend the first part of the service. There are activities for children from birth to age 15.
Guild
The Guild meets on the first and third Monday of the month at 7.30pm and has a wide range of speakers and activities. All are welcome
Congregational Board & Kirk Session
The Congregational Board meets on the second Monday of the month at 7.30, and is followed immediately by Kirk Session.
The Gardening Workparty
This group meets on a Wednesday in the grounds of the Church to keep the grounds looking good. Anyone is welcome to turn up from 10-12 to lend a hand. No expertise needed! This activity is weather dependent and may be suspended during the winter months.
